A relaxing weekend with my family!

This weekend has been really fun! Yesterday, we went to the Sapporo art park! The Sapporo art park is a place in the woods that has places to go and watch artisans, museums, as well as a park to sit and relax. It was super fun! We got to go inside a famous novelist's house and it was really cool to see what Japanese houses looked like a long time ago. Today, I went with my family and Alicia's family to the Autumn festival! We got to eat a ton of different types of food and walk around town. Also, I found out that Alicia's host family might be my second family which I'm super excited about! I've been really bummed that I have to leave my host family but if I stay with Alicia's host family, I'll still get to see my family and I love Alicia's family so I'm excited to spend time with them. And oh my goodness, my host mom just screamed because there was a bug in our salad. They freak out about bugs here! This morning, there was tiny little spider on the wall and my host mom flipped out and killed it with a tissue. So that's been my weekend. Art, food, and spiders. Until next time, bye bye!
